Location:
El Salto, across from Valdez Valley.  A mid-point between Taos Ski Valley and the town of Taos itself, approximately 15 minutes in either direction. A quiet, country, rural setting that is 0.6 miles off route 150. A dirt road that dead ends at this property; very private and a low traffic area. Cottonwood trees and bushes to the back. 

Views:
Outstanding in all directions, 360 degree views. The magnificent El Salto Mountain, and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain chain. Amazing sunrises and sunsets; bring your camera~!

Amenities:
Large wrap-around upper deck with picnic table and barbeque grill. TV on satellite dish/VCR, entertainment center with cassette/radio/CD. Private phone. Washer and dryer. Ceiling fans in living area and loft. Private location at end of dead-end road.

Baths:
Three total. One full with tub and shower off of living area. Second is a 3/4 with shower only off master bedroom. Third is a 3/4 with shower and utility sink (washer/dryer is here) on the ground level by the second and third bedrooms. Baths are convenient to all bedding locations.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped with ample cookware for a "group cook". Dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and microwave. Versatile dining area with long wooden table to seat 6, plus folding table and chairs in downstairs den area can be added to accommodate a larger group.

Bedding:
Queen in master bedroom (main floor) with private bath (shower), closet and outstanding mountain views. Second bedroom (ground floor) with queen bed and closet . Third bedroom (ground floor) with two twins (trundle) and hanging rack for clothes. Private loft (third level) with two twins.

There is a queen sleeper in the living area and a double futon in the ground level den area. A rollaway is available. Complete linens. To condense: two queen beds, 4 twin beds, double futon, rollaway, queen sleeper.

Heating:
Central on thermostat plus lots of solar gain (huge, sun-loving windows~!)

Sq. Ft.:
This home is approximately 2500 sq. ft. (inc. loft) with an open, full of light and bright central living area. Huge tall vaulted ceilings with lots of windows and comfortable spots to simply "hang out". The living room area with combined dining, kitchen workspace, full bath and master bedroom and private bath are on this second level (the main entry way leads you here).

Off of the kitchen is a large deck with picnic table and barbeque grill. A big, wide wrap-around staircase leads you to the private loft which is quite large, another mini-living room, with 2 twin beds, couch sitting area and stereo - this is the third level. On the ground level you walk into yet another den/gameroom area with futon, attractive brown tiled flooring, the second and third bedrooms and combination laundry and third bath.

Pricing:
$200 to $525 per night, depending on time of year, length of stay and number of guests.
