Approximately 0.5 miles from Taos Plaza and 18 miles to Taos Ski Valley. Upper end of Camino de la Placitas. Pastoral, quiet, open space of 1/2 acre. Note: first 12 feet of paved driveway is a steep grade (off of the street).
Views:
Beautiful, large shade trees surround this adobe-style home; rich browns, stark white aspen bark and deep green grasses and leaves; shimmering fall golds! The Sangre de Cristo Mountain peaks can be easily viewed from the backyard sitting area and hammock through the trees.

Outdoor fire-pit with wooden benches, 2 person swing, hammock and patio table and chairs sit amongst the towering cottonwoods and aspens. Private parking, kiva fireplace, washer/dryer in separate laundry area, TV/Dish (42" High Definition, Flat Screen) in den, small radio/CD player in kitchen, private phone (local calls), wireless internet, ceiling fan in den and 1 bedroom.
Baths:
Two; one with tub and shower, one with shower only, one has tile accents .Both have medicine cabinets. Full bath off Master, and 2nd bath off den area (around the corner to 2nd bedroom).
Kitchen:
Fully equipped with gas stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer and an ample supply of dishes and cookware. Beautiful, colorful tile countertops and dining table with 6 chairs.
Bedding:
King in Master, 2 doubles in second bedroom and queen sofa sleeper in den area. Bedrooms are at opposite ends of the home for added privacy. Large closet, one full walk-in closet - lots of storage space. One bedroom has door to the outside yard.

Wall heaters (several), natural gas on thermostat.

Approx. 1450 square feet, adobe-style home with mixed flooring of wood and tile. One bedroom and bath off of the living area, other bedroom and bath off the den area (den is one step down), with the kitchen at the center of the home. Main entrance has laundry room and multiple cupboards for storage. Three entry/exit doors have access to front and side yards.
Pricing:
$140 to $300 per night, depending on time of year, length of stay and number of guests. Weekly discounts.
