Amazing, towering cottonwood trees picturesque and shady for the summer. Sangre de Cristo Mountain views from the yard. Rural atmosphere, dirt and cobblestone road.

450 sq .ft. private, walled/gated courtyard with hot tub, meditation garden, kiva-style BBQ grill, and large outdoor table/chairs/dining area (this is like having another room outdoors). Fireplace (living room), portable entertainment center (radio/CD), and a Denon stereo system/DVD/radio/TV (on cable) in the bedroom. Private phone. Wireless internet. Washer/dryer. Portable crib and stroller. Writing desk. Lots of parking space. Believe me, no stone has been unturned when it comes to your comfort.

Baths:
One large, off the bedroom. Tiled tub and shower. Large closet with hot tub robes. Writing desk in a private corner. All linens provided generous supply, and washer/dryer. Second bath with shower, wheel chair accessible, is in a free standing building exterior entrance.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped with gas stove, 4 burner, oven (apartment size), mini-frig., sink this is a very unique combo unit from the 1950's. Coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster oven and an ample supply of dishes and cookware. Dining table seats 4. The kitchen is long and narrow, with a sitting area at the opposite end of the workspace.

Bedding:
King (tempurpedic) in master bedroom with beautiful hand-carved headboard. Clamp-on reading lights for the bed. Lighted table/stand, the room is overflowing with fine quality furnishings and adornments, as is the rest of the home. (Amazing detail in every corner- bring your camera). Door to courtyard and hot tub. Twin sleeper in kitchen sitting area, and queen sleeper in living area. Fine quality linens provided.

Heating:
Electric, radiant floor heat on thermostat. Fireplace in living area.

Sq. Ft.:
Approx. 850 Sq. ft. Your private entrance is into the 450 sq. ft. courtyard, and your main entrance door into the casita is the kitchen. An archway leads into the living area, and off the living area is the bedroom and bath. Another entrance/exit door is off the bedroom and into the courtyard. Note: This casita is part of the larger home you see pictured here. The main house is the 2 story to the right, the rentable casita space is very private and quiet and is to the far left of the main house. Follow the red roses over the archway entrance to your courtyard and private space. Also, I cannot emphasize enough the fine quality of the furnishings/art pieces of the home.

Pricing:
$130 to $250 per night depending on time of year, length of stay and number of guests.
